Tour de Norvége, part 1

This is the first pages of my travel journal from my recent trip to North Norway. I brought with me my pre-made book, a Canon Selphy printer, scissors, glue and just a very limited supply of stash. I returned home yesterday, and have finished all but the last 4 days of the trip. I am very happy with that!

The first day we drove from Bergen to Solavågen. The weather was beautiful and the scenery breathtaking!

We stayed at Sunde Fjord Hotel and had a fantastic view to the ferry traffic and all the cruise ships returning from the Geiranger Fjord. The room was beautiful and we had a large balcony.

The next day we visited the Art Deco city Ålesund. The sun had disappeared and was replaced by clouds. In Ålesund we walked to the top of the (not so very high) mountain Aksla - 418 steps.

From Ålesund we drove to the small place Bud before we headed to "Atlanterhavsveien". Very famous, but not that impressive I think. I am not a big fan of bridges...

The second night we stayed at Quality Hotel Grand in Kristiansund, which was quite OK.

The third day we drove from Kristiansund to Trondheim.
